Bushfires are not uncommon in Australia and air quality is a serious concern by parents who want to allow their kids for outdoor play. Because we care, we are providing a real-time air quality and weather check.
As a brief guide on the Air Quality Index (AQI), here are the parameters:
0-50 (Green) – Air Quality is good
51-100 (Yellow) – Moderate/Acceptable, but unusually sensitive may be affected
101-150 (Orange) – Unhealthy for sensitive individuals
150-200 (Red) – Everyone may begin to experience health effects
201-300 (Purple) – Health alert: everyone may experience more serious health effects
301-500 (Maroon) – Health warnings of emergency conditions. The entire population is more likely to be affected.
